Removing extra icons from the taskbar

The taskbar is one of the key controls in the Windows operating system. We interact with it very often, which is why it is so important to make the taskbar as convenient and pleasant to look at as possible.

In addition to the quick launch buttons that you drag and drop to the taskbar, there are icons for system applications and services. The latter include, for example, buttons for searching and viewing tasks, as well as icons from the notification area: clock, volume, network, etc.

To remove extra icons:
1. Right-click on the taskbar and select "Taskbar Options" to open "Settings" on the corresponding page.
2. In the Taskbar section, click Turn system icons on or off.
3. Move the slider to the inactive position for each item that you do not want to see on your taskbar.
